During the conference, the Smart Education of China platform will upgrade and launch the Global Artificial Intelligence Education service platform. The international version of LZPU's general education course Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence Applications has successfully been launched on the platform and is officially released and showcased to the world as an international educational service product. This milestone signifies that LZPU's educational achievements have obtained national-level recognition and garnered extensive international attention.
The international version of Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence Applications, which is being globally launched and promoted, was developed and designed exclusively by LZPU's AI General Education Course Team for the global market and tailored specifically for absolute beginners worldwide. The course closely aligns with the demand for cultivating transnational talents in the digital era, precisely addresses the key pain points in AI learning—including high entry barriers, obscure theoretical content, insufficient practical training, and the disconnect between learning and application. It guides learners step by step to build a solid foundation in digital literacy and develop core competencies for the digital age. With strong universality and wide application coverage, the course possesses extremely high promotion value and teaching demonstration significance.
Prior to this global launch, LZPU's AI general education courses had already achieved breakthrough implementation in international vocational education cooperation. On April 27, the AnnualConference of the China-Indonesia TVET Industry-Education Alliance (CITIEA) was held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.Witnessed jointly by the Special Adviser to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of Indonesia and the Education Counselor of the Embassy of China in Indonesia, LZPU, as the Chinese representative institution of the Alliance, successfully signed agreements with 44 state polytechnics and 137 vocational schools affiliated with general universities in Indonesia, reaching multiple cooperation consensuses in the field of artificial intelligence.Under the cooperation agreements, the AI general education course will be fully integrated into the curriculum system of all majors in Indonesian vocational colleges. Course standards, supporting textbooks and digital teaching resources will be jointly developed, co-constructed and shared by teachers from both China and Indonesia. In addition, the two sides will carry out in-depth and pragmatic cooperation in five key areas: artificial intelligence program development, cross-disciplinary integration and upgrading, teacher training, and skills competitions. Through the co-construction and sharing model, they will continuously improve the comprehensive AI literacy of vocational college students in both countries.
This successful launch of the course on the national-level global education platform and its full implementation in Indonesia's vocational education system marks a landmark achievement for LZPU in advancing educational digital transformation and deepening the internationalization reform of AI general education. The course has become an important window for LZPU and even Chinese vocational institutions to promote distinctive vocational education programs abroad and connect with global institutions for cooperation. It represents the remarkable results achieved by Chinese vocational institutions in the reform of AI general education and the internationalization of digital teaching. In the next step, LZPU will further integrate resources from enterprises and educational institutions, continuously optimize course content, innovate teaching models, deepen international educational exchanges and cooperation, share high-quality vocational education resources with the world, and contribute to the high-quality and coordinated development of global digital education.
